YAY!!! MY NEW SINGLE "SO SPECIAL" F/NHYTEE ..

MUSIC : Queen YaNasda

New Music from Queen YoNasDa with Inspirational Single, “So Special,”produced by No ID
from Latest Album “God, Love & Music.”
Queen YoNasDa is back with an alluring new single that serves as encouragement for the hip-hop community. “So Special” featuring Nhytee was produced by No ID and is the latest single from Queen YoNasDa’s album “God, Love & Music.” No ID has produced tracks for major artists like Common, Kayne West and Jay-Z.
As Queen YoNasDa prepares to go on tour with members of the Wu-Tang Clan (Raekwon, Ghostface Killah and Method Man) “So Special” is what the hip-hop community needs for inspiration and true lyricism. "So  Special" is a testimonial but inspirational song,” says Queen YoNasDa  after her breakout singles “Pow Wow" and "You Don't Want No Problems" f/ Cappadonna. “I wanted to release a song that really explains my story. I tested it out on the "Built for Cuban Linz 2" tour with Wu Tang Clan's Raekwon and Capone N Noreaga, in the 25 cities I opened for. The response was overwhelming. When the angels begin singing on the track, hands went straight into the air. I knew at that point this is a song the world needs to hear.”
I never lived self-righteous
some people didn't like this
sold me out like Judas
it be the one in your family
with the screw face
pointin out-bringin out your mistakes
but I'm a changed woman
I got a new look
I gotta new outlook
on how I see crooks
I got a new way to see
cuz I got the book
I got a new way to live

QUEEN YONASDA Pronounced (Yo-Naja-Ha) "No Nation Can Rise Higher than its Woman," is a saying that breathes truth.  Queen YoNasDa epitomizes this energy as a hip hop artist, curator, and activist. Without a doubt, there is an imbalance occurring in hip hop where female emcees have been silenced.   Her strong presence is bringing femcees with a message back to the forefront of music as the days of Queen Latifah and Lauryn Hill with a modern twist.  Her musical style encompasses an eclectic mix of wisdom, grooves, catchy hooks, and is sure to reach the masses.

Your Blessing May Not Come with Balloons and Confetti and Huge Party

I was talking to a friend of mine last night about blessings. And it got me thinkin about my own testimony. Now many of you all don't know or may, but I am not a signed artist. I don't have a budget. Everything you have bear-witnessed has all been because of blessings, from God. Before I went on tour with Raekwon I was praying for a sponsor, whether a private sponsor or a corporate sponsor. I was worried about how am I gonna tour 25 cities with no money. I didn't get paid for my shows, it was more of a promotional situation.

So I am stressin' but I stepped out on faith and headed on tour. I brought cd's and t-shirts to sell so at least I can make money that way. Every day I was on tour God provided exactly what I needed, to go to the next city, gas, tolls, hotels, food and even extra money to buy certain things. Some supporters of my music came up to me gave me $50 for a $10 cd cuz they really loved what I represented. Certain celeb friends that came to my show, put a couple of hundreds in my pocket without me even asking for it. Raekwon and his Icewater team took care of my hotel in several cities and also fed me and my team. By day 3 I wasn't stressin financially on the tour because I realized my prayers were being answered. I asked God for money to make sure myself and my team are comfortable for the Built 4 Cuban Linx 2 tour, and we were.

My blessing didn't come with a HUGE $50k check, it came with God providing exactly what I needed day by day. While others spend btw $10,000-$20,000 on national tours, I only spent $2500 total and broke even with all of God's blessings.

Many of us are promised many things from God, and we sit back day to day frustrated by the house, or the car, or the husband/wife God promised us and it still isn't there. Maybe you did recieve God's promise but you were waiting for balloons, confetti and a huge party you didn't pay attention to the house  you got offered below market price, yeah it didn't have 6 bedrooms that you envisioned but it had a HUGE backyard you can add your additional rooms to, or you passed buy the car that was a color red but was safe and no note on it, or even you passed by the person in the corner that said "hello" but you ignored them for the top model or the basketball player that wouldn't love you as dear and near than the person you passed up.  So, when God does bless you and then you don't recognize it He takes it away, have you go through some more experiences to mature you for the next time he blesses you, your able to recognize it. Remember blessings don't always come with balloons and confetti. A sister friend of mine said to me, "When God is about to bless you HE isolates you, because HE wants the glory and praise!"

I DON'T WANT THIS!!!!!

Have you ever been in love with someone, I mean soooo in love with them that in "your" mind they can never do any wrong? Or if they did do wrong, the expectations and belief you have in them you easily forgive them?
I have been in this situation many many times, I mean "many" but sadly it was with the same person. After love.hell and never makin it right, I had to completely let him go. Now, I am writing a book but I can give you a glimpse of how this relationship went.. after numerous times he cheated on me, having a baby on me, proposing to me twice just to keep me "around" while he did him, and then it eventually turned bad.... Michael Jackson "BAD".. I had to let him go! Some of my friends and family that are use to us breakin up and then makin up don't really believe me when I say "I am done! I am not goin back!" But I spoke to him today and after all the numerous text messages and phone calls and voicemail messages of "I'm sorry!" "I miss you!" "You were the best thing that ever happened to me!" "I love you, and I don't want anyone else!"... I came into realization after he told me, he lost his home, has no phone, doesn't have regular income coming in... when in the past I accepted that and helped him on his business side, that no I DONT WANT THIS!

It comes a point in your life where you must take off the rosy colored glasses and accept people for who they are and not what you "hope" them to be. I saw more greatness in him, than I believe he saw in himself and I think thats when it got bad. But on the other hand I was lovin who I was lovin. I argued with other women, because he downplayed alot of the situations between him and "them". But at the time I thought I was in the "right" because I was his "queen".
Yeah I do miss .. I guess the familarity of the relationship. Waking up next to someone that has tea and breakfast made every morning, my son was fully clothed and ready for school, the long conversations til 5 in the morning on life, our life and of course God. Yeah I miss the long walks in the park, the long drives to new places we both never been before, writing music together..... Once the glasses came off, I realized the tea and breakfast he also did for his "jump offs" it was his "thing".It reminded me of that episode on Sex and the City, the man that does these sweet things for EVERY women. These long conversations were the same conversations his female and male friends and even total strangers told me he told them the same thing. And the long walks in the park, whether I am there or not he was always walking..... So in actuality I didn't have anything special...
I never really talk about my personal life like that, but I believe as I am healing and moving forward, I believe someone is going through the same situation out there and maybe my story can help them get out before its to late.
I want the best for him, I really do! But why is it that when you love someone they don't love you until you are done and moved on? I deserve the best... its just sad it took me 5 years to realize that I didn't have the best!! I DONT WANT THIS!!
